The Bureau of Prisons confirms Diana Frey, former president of Cincinnati Organized and Dedicated Employees (CODE) sentenced in 2012 on embezzlement charges, is now on home confinement and will be released March 20, 2015. Bureau spokesman Chris Burke says Frey was transferred from Alderson prison camp in West Virginia to a Cincinnati halfway house September 22. She began home confinement October 30. Prosecutors say Frey's embezzlement, from 2005 to 2011, was cold, calculating and deliberate. Frey pleaded guilty to stealing $750,000. In court she said she will spend the rest of her life trying to make it up to her family and union members and repay the debt. CODE has hired civil attorney John Saxton to locate the missing funds. Frey was sentenced to four years in prison, but Burke says she is getting out early for good conduct.
